Glass Balustrades
Aluminium Technology has been supplying and installing glass balustrades and fences to the Auckland and New Zealand construction market for over 25 years. We have designs to meet any situation and budget. Our systems have been designed by a chartered Structural Engineer; and have been vetted and peer-reviewed on many large and challenging projects; such as high-rise apartments up to 30 storeys with wind loads in excess of 4 kPa; as well as private residences and low-rise buildings and pool fences.
Skyrail Dx Series
This is a high-performance partially or fully framed system. It is designed for extreme conditions; eg high rise with extra high wind loads; or more severe occupancies (refer NZS1170). It is also set up to be customised; eg a bespoke top rail profile for larger projects; the bottom rail can be incorporated into the tile bar for tiled decks; and other options.

Skyrail Dr Series
Skyrail Dr Series; this is a partially or fully framed system; framed in structural aluminium. It is very robust, durable and economical. It can have a structural top rail (eg for high rise apartments) or be semi-frameless and have a glass only top-edge.

Cantilevered glass with vice-type spigots. The vice units; which can be top or face mounted are made from aluminium and machined here in New Zealand. Skyrail CG-BCF Series
Skyrail A Series (Al sheet) is a robust, economical and durable balustrade and fence system. When combined with aluminium sheet, this opens up unlimited design possibilities. The sheet panels (normally 3mm solid aluminium) are available in many options; such as solid, perforated, motif, shaped, profiled, and combined with balusters.
Skyrail A Series (stairs) is a robust, economical and durable barrier and handrail system for stairs. It is suitable for common and accessible stairs. It is not generally suitable for private stairs. Handrails can be incorporated within the balustrade or separately on brackets.
